Amor Azizi is a Professor of Chemistry, Materials Science and Engineering at Ferhat Abbas-Sétif 1 University. He received a Master degree (DEA) in Materials for Microelectronics and Micro-Ionic from the University of Montpellier I (France) in 1987, and a Ph.D. in Materials Science from Strasbourg University (France) in 1996. His doctoral work focused on elaboration and characterization of as growth epitaxial phase separated CoAg thin films by using Molecular Beam Epitaxy (MBE). His current research interests include electrochemical nucleation-growth, metals-alloys, Transparent Metal Oxide Semiconductor, copper nanostructures for advanced applications in microelectronics (interconnection), nanofabrication and scanning probe microscopy (SPM). Pr. Azizi co-founded Laboratory of Chemistry, Molecular Engineering and Nanostructures (LCIMN). He has 60 peer-reviewed publications and as reviewer in many scientific journals. He has directed a 12 magisters diploma and more than 13 PhD students.
